The Good News
Why Our Faith Matters
At A+ Painting, our faith is the foundation of who we are and how we serve. While we never expect our clients to share our beliefs, we believe it’s important to be open about what guides our values, our integrity, and our desire to serve others well.
This page exists simply to share the hope that has changed our lives.
The Good News
The Gospel means “good news.”
It is the message of God’s love for humanity and His desire to restore our relationship with Him.
The Bible teaches that God created us for relationship with Him, but that sin, our failure to live according to His perfect standard, separates us from God.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
No amount of good works, effort, or morality can fully bridge that gap.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
Because of His great love, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise again.
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
“He was buried, and He was raised on the third day.”
1 Corinthians 15:4
Through Jesus, forgiveness and new life are freely offered to all who believe.
What This Means for You
Salvation is not earned. It is a gift.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8–9
Through faith in Jesus Christ:
-
Your sins can be forgiven
-
You can have peace with God
-
You can experience new life and lasting hope
-
You can have assurance of eternal life
“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”*
Romans 5:1
How to Respond
The Bible teaches that responding to the Gospel involves believing, trusting, and turning toward God.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”
Acts 3:19
A Simple Prayer
This prayer is not a secret formula that saves, but if you’re unsure where to begin, this is a simple example:
“God, I recognize that I need You.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again.
I ask for Your forgiveness and invite You into my life.
Help me to follow You and live according to Your will.
Amen.”
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
Our Heart in This
We share this message not out of obligation, but out of love.
“We love because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
Our faith shapes how we treat our clients, how we conduct our business, and how we serve our community. Whether or not you choose to explore faith further, you are always welcome and respected here.
